Keep Slipping Mitts
This (and its accompanying hat pattern) are the final patterns from The ShannaJean Club Year 1.
This hat & mitts combo is the perfect answer to the question: what to knit? It’s a soothing pattern and makes a comfy finished object.
YARN
approximately 140 (160) yards/129 (147) m worsted-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Targhee Worsted in Coral Cove (pink/brown set), Purple Dragon (yellow/purple set), and Juniper (green set).
NEEDLES
US7/4.5mm needle for smallish-circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge. I recommend using a 32”/60 cm or 40”/80 cm circular for magic loop.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Small/medium (large/extra large): 4 (4.75)“/10 (12) cm across hand (measured above base of thumb but below knuckles) unstretched; both sizes are approximately 7”/18 cm from cast-on to bind-off edge.
