“This pullover was inspired by the movement water creates on botanicals in the sea,” says Deborah Helmke. “This garment is worked from the bottom up in two pieces (front and back), with sleeves cast on and worked to the shoulder.” The main body is worked in a striking cable and lace pattern, while the sleeves and yoke use a contrasting mesh lace stitch. It’s knitted in a tweedy wool-cotton yarn from Sublime, called Luxurious Tweed DK.
