Wavy lines of brioche stitches travel up the edge of this asymmetrical shawl like kelp fronds buffeted by the ocean currents.

This shawl begins with a few stitches and grows through increases within the brioche section and then increases in the garter stitch main body along the top. It uses syncopated brioche combined with brioche increases and decreases to accentuate both yarn colors in the patterning.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished project.
