Well, how do you? Meet Kelvin, a friendly snowman who will merrily tip his top hat to everyone he meets during the holiday season.

He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My snowman is made using Vanna’s Choice Solids in six different colors:

• Color 1: White (75 yards)
• Color 2: Chocolate (25 yards)
• Color 3: Silver Grey (50 yards)
• Color 4: Black (15 yards)
• Color 5: Scarlet (25 yards)
• Color 6: Terracotta (5 yards)

Kelvin is an advanced beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, color changes, crocheting in the front and back loops, crocheting two rounds together, and some seaming.
