This 3-piece accessories set is completely reversible in 2-color brioche stitches. It is recommended that knitters have some prior knowledge of brioche knitting. Nancy Marchant’s fantastic books and Craftsy classes are a great place to start.

Finished Measurements:
Cowl: Width: 10 1⁄4” / 26 cm; circumference: 29 1⁄2” / 75 cm
Hat: Brim circumference: 19 3⁄4” / 50 cm; depth: 11” / 28 cm
Intended to be worn with 1–4” / 2.5–10 cm negative ease.
Mittens: Hand circumference: 7 1⁄2” / 19 cm; length: 10” / 25.5 cm cm

Renaissance Dyeing Poll Dorset (380 yd / 350 m per 3 1⁄2 oz / 100 g hank; 100% Organic Wool):
1 hank each Pastel (LC) and Os (DC) for Cowl, Hat, or Mittens
Two hanks of each color will make Cowl, Hat, and Mittens.

Needles:
Cowl: Size 3 US / 3.25 mm circular needle, 20–24” / 50–60 cm long
Hat: Size 3 US / 3.25 mm circular needle, 16” / 40 cm long and needle(s) in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round
Mittens: Size 1 1⁄2 US / 2.5 mm needle(s) in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge:
Cowl and Hat: 26 sts and 27 counted rnds (54 worked rnds) = 4” / 10 cm in Stag Pattern
Mittens: 24 sts and 34 counted rnds (68 worked rnds) = 4” / 10 cm in Brioche Stockinette stitch
