Pattern notes
Kennet is worked from the top down.
The cardigan features garter stitch bands at the front opening. These are given a neat edging by slipping the first stitch of each row knitwise, and purling the last stitch of each row. This is called a chain selvedge. To keep the edges neat, try to avoid joining in a new ball at the front edge. Instead, join yarn at the side of the cardigan, in the underarm area.
There is a video tutorial on the cluster stitch pattern here: Cluster Stitches
