Kiandra
The hat can be a snug beanie or add a repeat for a bit of a slouch. Pom poms welcome. Pattern features easy cables and some nice stockinette resting rounds. Charted and written out, knitter’s choice!
Sizes: Child, Adult S/M, Adult M/L
171/2 (19, 20)” 44.5 (48.5, 51) cm, slightly stretched
Materials: 147 (182, 207) yds 135 (164, 190) m DK/8 ply wt yarn.
Needles and Notions: US 6/4mm 16” (40 cm) circular needles or size to get gauge. Double pointed needles or long circular in same size for top of hat.
US 4/3.25mm 16” (40cm) circular needles, or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needle, for ribbing

Gauge: 221/2 sts/34 rounds to 4”/10 cm over stockinette.
241/2 sts/40 rounds to 4”/10 cm over pattern stitch, blocked unstretched.
