This pattern is for a pair of ornately cabled socks. The cable itself is a Canadian cable that is just perfect for socks. The cable comes to us from the creative mind of Annie Maloney. The focal cable is one that pulls in slightly, easily fixed by going up one needle sizes, or eliminating one vertical repeat after knitting your top ribbing.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling, lace knitting and cabling).

The cable stitch is both charted and written out.

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, and is sized by gauge (if you want to adjust your size from M, be sure to adjust your yarn so it matches your new needle size). MOST women wear socks in size M (shoe size 6 - 9)
