Another of my own designs . The pattern includes a sweater , shorts , purse and hair tie . For the sweater I have knitted the sleeves first , then the body , then combined all the stitches to form the yoke . So the only sewing needed is the side seam of sleeves and the small area under the arms and of course to sew on the buttons . It has a back closure but can also be worn as a short cardigan with front buttons . The shorts are knitted flat with a back seam . The purse and hair tie are seemed .

SUPPLIES NEEDED :

• Cascade Yarns Cherub DK : I used Green as Color B 28 gm ( 92.2 meters /100.8 yards)
• Cascade Yarns Cherub DK : I used Lime as Color A 33 gm ( 108.6 meters /118.8 yards) Other supplies needed :
• Size 3.50mm ( US 4 ) Straight Knitting needles .
• Size 3.25 mm ( US 3 ) circular needles for the sleeves and bodice or you can use straight needles and knit with dpns when creating the sleeves .
• Size 3.50 mm ( US 4 ) dpns x 2 ( double pointed knitting needles ) for I - Cord
• 4 Buttons
• Ribbon for hair tie or you can knit a i-cord
• Tapestry needle
