A quick and beautiful way to bring your favorite colors together in your home. Design can be worked in anywhere from two to several colors. Pattern gives both colorized and greyscale charts, along with several ideas for alternate colorways and explicit instructions, with photos, for inserting the optional zipper.

needle suggestions: trim & main
looser knitters: US 10 / 6.00mm & US 10¾ / 7.00mm
tighter knitters: US 10½ / 6.50mm & US 11 / 8.0mm

For a 20” square pillow, use whatever size needle gets you the above gauge.

Note: I used one 40” long circular but you can use a 32” long circular, two circulars, or double-pointed needles, if you prefer.

A note from the pattern on yarn substitution:
Unfortunately, Hubro was recently discontinued. The suggested gauge on Hubro’s ball band was 10 stitches to 4” / 10cm. You can substitute for Hubro with any other solid-colored, super bulky yarn that has a similar ball band gauge - anywhere from 9 to 10 stitches over 4” / 10cm would make sense. As we did with the sample, you’ll want to knit your pillow at a tighter-than-ball-band gauge (see below) to end up with a sturdy fabric. This link takes you to a Ravelry.com search that shows currently available, solid-colored, super bulky yarns.
