The tradition of tweed woven fabrics is very strong in Ireland. The heathered yarn creates a subtle color interplay in the delicate tweed fabric. You can create your own unique and beautiful bag that uses a tweed stitch to add texture and a blending of the colors between two yarns. This bag is knit a little larger than normal and then lightly felted (washed to shrink) to create structure while still retaining stitch definition. You can choose between either a small handbag size or a larger tote size.
