Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia.”

~ C. S. Lewis, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

The Chronicles of Narnia have always been one of my favorite series of books. This sock is the last in a series of designs to represent the four thrones at Cair Paravel.

For Edmund, I chose to knit a cabled sock. Suitable for men or women, this design is worked as mirror-images for the left and right socks.

The pattern is written for three sizes. Options for knitting even more sizes include: using a slightly heavier/lighter weight sock yarn and larger /smaller needles. If you choose this option, remember the Golden Rule for knitters -- SWATCH!

One average skein of sock yarn should be enough to knit all but the largest socks.

The cabling pulls the sock just a wee bit tighter than a stockinette sock, but not too much.
