This little kingfisher is knitted flat and seamed. The pattern uses the Intarsia technique for the colour work sections which is laid out in a straightforward and easy to follow way.

Materials:
20m (22yd) orange yarn 30m (33yd) turquoise yarn 10m (11yd) grey yarn
10m (11yd) cream yarn
Two black 5mm (1/5in) safety eyes
2cm (4/5in) square of orange felt Toy filling

Finished size: 12cm (4 3/4in) from top of head to feet.
