Kingfisher Shawlette
Garter striping, five complementary colors, a 3-stitch cable “center”, a bit of lace edging and a unique bird-like shape all work together to create a versatile, highly-wearable shawlette in approx 460yds of fingering-weight wool.
Sample shown used Knit Picks Palette (100% wool, fingering weight) in the following colors/amounts:
o MC, Ash (dark charcoal) - 140 yards
o CC1, Rainforest Heather (dark teal) – 80 yards
o CC2, Seafaring (teal) – 80 yards
o CC3, Sagebrush (pale teal) – 80 yards
o CC4, Clarity (pale, pale blue) – 80 yards
This is a fun, interesting knit that yields a gorgeous shawl that drapes beautifully.
