The Kirra Cardi is a super bulky, super soft and airy spring cardigan perfect for crisp mornings and sitting by the campfire. The written pattern includes photo tutorials, video tutorial, and is written in three sizes: Large, Medium, & Small. Child sizes coming soon :)!

Pattern tested and approved by the wonderful women in my life who share a love of crochet. Thank you beautiful ladies for working all the kinks out with me on this creation. <3 <3 <3.

I hope you enjoy it, and remember - sharing is caring :). If you love it, please share with your friends.

The inspiration for this came from my beautiful niece Kirra, she has blonde hair and when she held this yarn next to her, it all just came out! I wanted to create something that looked like 1975 meets 2018, and it’s teen approved .

I hope you enjoy creating this cardigan, it is created with simple stitches and I’ve also created a companion video if you need help working through some of the more difficult aspects of the pattern.

If you have any questions about this pattern, please e-mail me at stardustgoldcrochet@gmail.com, I’m always here to help if you get stuck!

I would love to see your finished patterns, if you have Instagram, Facebook, or a blog, please use hashtag #stardustgoldcrochet. Thank you! Please read all notes!

Suggested Yarn: Weight 6 (Super Bulky) Cardi in main photos (Large) is created using Caron Sprinkle Cakes in Pecan Fudge.

Yardage: 800-1000 yards - I used 6 cakes total, with plenty left over. Although my testers used one color yarn and they only used around 800 yards.

Hook Size: 10 mm (N/P-15)

Wooden Toggle Buttons (optional) 2-4” (5-10cm) (4-6) Scissors Darning Needle

Gauge: 7 sts x 4 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm)

Directions for gauge: fdc 7, (first chain does not count as a stitch) ch 2, turn. dc in same space as chain and across entire row, ch 2, turn - repeat until you rea 4 rows.

Thank you to all the pattern testers for this project! Much Love to you all!
