I made charts based on photos of a commercially made doll hat that is no longer sold. So I claim no credit for the original design of this or the matching mitts patterns. Therefore, this and the mitts will be free, and the sweater will be not be free. The original is machine knit squares sewn together and I had to do a lot of knitting and tinking and reknitting to make a shoulder decrease that would fit and be true to the original design.
