PATTERN NOTES
This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece with stitches cast on for the dolman sleeves. The cuffs are worked with a slip stitch edging that curls under after the completion. The fronts are worked with an extra knit stitch that is worked into when picking up stitches for the edging. The i-cord is first begun on it’s own, then attached to the garment and worked around the front opening. In addition to stitch gauge, row gauge is important in this pattern as the color change is based on a multiple of rows.

This pattern includes a 14 step picture tutorial on how to work the smocked stitch pattern.
