Kisses and Hugs
Every Easter, my Grandy would make up little plastic easter baskets for her grandchildren and put them at our places on the table. The baskets were filled with Hershey’s Kisses, jellybeans, and a Susan B. Anthony dollar. There was big excitement one year when Hershey’s Hugs debuted and were added to our baskets! The curves in this lace pattern remind me of these wonderful childhood treats.
Kisses and Hugs is worked in the round from the bottom up, using a simple 8-row lace pattern that is easy to memorize. The pattern will look nice in lower-contrast variegated yarns, speckles, or solids.
