Kitty Cat Hat - Digital PDF Knitting Pattern

Knit your own paw-some cat hat for those colder months. Perfect for cat lovers, or for anyone that wants something cute and cosy to keep them warm.

The pattern is knitted flat on 9mm (US 13) straight needles, however this could easily be adapted to circular needles by changing all P rows to K rows.

The recommended yarn is Sincerely Louise X Cygnet Yarns, which have now been brought into the main Cygnet Seriously Chunky range. This can easily be subbed for other super chunky yarns that achieve the same tension of 8 stitches and 11 rows = 10 cm (4in) on 9mm (US 13) knitting needles.

FINISHED SIZE: Adult size - fits most

RECOMMENDED MATERIALS:

• 2 x 100g balls of Cygnet Seriously Chunky - super chunky - 100% acrylic yarn - in whichever colour you’d like for your hat
• 9mm (US 13) straight knitting needles
• Plastic sewing up needle

SKILL LEVEL: Easy for knitters who know the basics

STITCHES USED: Knit, Purl, Increasing and Decreasing (Kfb, K2tog and SKP), mattress stitch for sewing up
