Kitty Muff
by Nikol Lohr
Inspired by Kitty from Anna Karenina.
“A simple textured check and pretty two-color Latvian braids embellish the pale pink exterior. The optional hidden pocket is worked into the lining using the leftover contrast color from the muff ’s exterior. Both the interior and exterior are worked in the round, then assembled, with layers of batting between. The joining stitches are picked up through the cast-on and bound-off ends of both layers, with the interior slightly larger so the “fur” lining shows from outside. The muff is finished with a rolled edging and a removable I-cord neck strap.”
