Occasionally I take on commissions, but its not my go-to. But when Laura messaged me asking for a Kiwi blanket for a baby about to be born to a couple from New Zealand - I couldn’t resist the pun!

Laura gave me free reign for this blanket so I could go crazy. I wanted this to be a chunky, cuddly make, so the yarn is held double throughout for bonus plush! I also thought that baby would enjoy texture as they grew, and so I added some textural elements so that this wouldn’t be your usual run-of-the-mill circular baby blanket.
