Anne Egan’s super socks have plenty of stretch and a houndstooth look.

Socks are made from toe to top so you can fit the foot exactly before starting the leg. Rounds are worked in alternating colours of White and Black, except for the toe, heel and ribbing which are worked in White only. Always change colour on last yr. of last st on previous round.
