This mitten is knit in the round, and approximately 12 inches wide including thumb and 14 inches long.

Size can be changed by using different weights of yarn and appropriate sized needles.

Gauge is given, but not important for this pattern unless you want an exact size.

Any worsted weight yarn can be substituted.

Approximately 150yards (about 1/2 skein) of Paddy Green Red Heart Super Saver and 50 yards of Red with Silver Red Heart Holiday (about 1/4 skein) used for item shown in pictures.

If you know how to knit a mitten in the round, this pattern is easy. It uses K1P1 ribbing, stockinette stitch and a thumb gusset. The item shown was knit with a circular needle for the cuff and mitten body, and double pointed needles for the thumb and to finish the top of the mitten body.
