A RANGE of 17 delightful shades (…) is available in the new Lacette yarn, specially designed for lace-stitch jumpers. The yarn, which is of wool, is firmly twisted, and equal to little more than a one-ply of ordinary wool. It is particularly suitable for jumpers and cardigans for wear during the Australian spring and summer seasons, and can be used successfully for this pretty, short-sleeved jumper.

MATERIALS. — 5oz. pastel-coloured Lacette yarn.

GENERAL KNITTING PLAN.—In order to ensure a good fit for the jumper, it is advisable to work it according to a well-cut pattern. Such a pattern can be easily made out of paper by following the adjoining diagram. The numbers give the measurements in inches for a 36in. bust. To make it larger or smaller, add or subtract the necessary number of inches.
