Knitted Socks 0-5 years
The socks are worked in soft baby merino wool, making them warm and comfortable for small feet during colder months.
The socks are knitted from the cuff down on double-pointed needles. The leg is worked in rib, which gives a flexible fit and allows the cuff to be folded down or worn longer. After the heel is shaped, the foot continues with stocking stitch under the sole and ribbing across the top of the foot.
The pattern includes five sizes, from newborn to young child. The shaft can also be extended if you want longer stockings or knee socks, but this will require extra yarn.

Design details
Baby and Children’s Socks are defined by their practical cuff-down construction and classic sock shaping. The ribbed leg gives stretch and comfort, while the stocking stitch sole keeps the foot smooth inside the shoe. The foldable cuff makes the socks flexible in use, and the simple design works well in both bright and neutral colours.
