This little gnomey knitter will be happy anywhere he is as long as he’s got his knitting. (Just like the rest of us, eh?!) He is working on a cabled and textured scarf; but he clearly has knitted the sweater he sports and his striped hat! What a talent he is!

There are quite a few techniques in this pattern. You will need to know how to or learn to k, p, c4f, kfb, k2tog, stranded knitting, working in the round and also flat knitting, and k i-cord, and the nose is a big bobble! He has cute yellow shoes, maroon pants, teal and tan sweater and light blue and brown cap with a rolled brim. He keeps his garter stitch beard in excellent shape. The only hand sewing is attaching his arms and legs and the little seams on his shoes. He also has brown shoe laces!

Feel free to use colors of your choice instead of the ones I used. It’s a great way to use up your dk stash!
