The Puget Sound Local Yarn Shop (LYS) Tour is proud to celebrate its 20th Anniversary with the release of the 2026 Shop Blanket Squares Pattern Bundle, a commemorative digital collection featuring exclusive knit and crochet blanket square patterns designed in collaboration with this year’s participating shops.

The Blanket Square patterns will be published digitally before the Tour to help you warm up your needles and hooks as you await the start of Tour.

Never fear! The Tour’s traditional release of featured crochet and knitting patterns at each Shop will happen May 13-17, 2026 when they will be revealed and can be collected when visiting each Shop.

The Blanket Square patterns are an extra bonus for this special 20th Anniversary year.

How to Participate: Blanket Square Knit and Crochet patterns will be revealed with each shop spotlight on social media, starting Feb 27, 2026. As patterns are revealed you can click on the link below here on the LYS Tour official website to access the downloadable pattern files.

At the end of the 25 shop Blanket Squares Reveal we will also link to downloadable Finishing Instructions for both knit and crochet blankets, as well as a special edition ebook that includes all 25 shop knit or crochet squares in one easy to access download.

Since its founding in 2006, the Puget Sound LYS Tour has brought fiber enthusiasts together to explore independently owned yarn shops across the Puget Sound region. The annual self-guided tour encourages makers to discover new shops, build community, and support local small businesses.
