This hat can be worn by literally everyone and you can even add the optional pom or not, the instructions are given in writing on the last page. It’s good to have options, right?

Written pattern with charts for sizes ranging from S/M 20” stretches to 22”, L/XL 23” stretches to 24” in circumference.

Oh and yes, there is a matching cowl pattern as well it is knitted flat, matching the hat perfectly.

Yarn
One Bulk cake. 108 yards/100 grams/3.5 ounces per cake in a bulky weight #5 on the weight scale, in a super soft Acrylic yarn.
Washable in gentle cycle with warm water.

Notions
US size 11 (8 mm) circular needle 20” (51 cm) in length.
3 Stitch markers, 2 for pattern repeat, one distinct one to mark beginning of round.
Tapestry needle for finishing.
Pom maker or card board about 4” in width.

Gauge
8 sts and 13 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied
Knit and purl in the round, cable knitting, knitting stitches through back loop, decreasing the crown, cinching remaining stitches with tapestry needle, weaving in ends, creating a pom. Blocking is optional.
