TENSION
12 sts and 10 rows measured over 10cm (approx 4in) of stitch pattern, using 5.50mm needles.
SCARF PATTERN
Using 5.50mm needles, cast on 26 sts. Row1 K1yon,p2tog;repfromto last k1. Continue on this row until length desired. Cast off.

Work the first knit stitch, yarn is now at back of work, take yarn to right and bring towards left, over needle from back to front. Yarn is now in position to work first p2tog. Next: take yarn to the right, over needle and bring back to front in between left and right needles, then p2tog. Repeat.
