The Knottie Scarf isn’t your ordinary scarf. It is worked from the bottom up and is designed to be worn in multiple ways. Wear it with the triangle to the front or to the back. Wrap the tails around for warmth or just leave them hanging. The choice is up to you!
The pattern includes fully written directions and charts. The original scarf was done with a soft cotton, but it can be done with any worsted/aran weight yarn. One button is used to close the scarf, but you can substitute a nice bead for a more dramatic touch.
Since the scarf only uses 200 yards, why not use that one skein of luxury yarn to make something really special? It would also make great gifts for those people that are hard to buy for.
