Knowlton Coat
This classic double-breasted children’s coat pattern includes stranded colourwork bands at the hem and cuff, a dense textured stitch pattern to give it structure, and I-cord edging to finish the edges nicely. The pattern is named for the designer’s paternal grandmother, who taught her to knit.
This coat is designed to be worn with 3½-5” of ease. Size 2 is shown modeled with 4½“ positive ease. The sturdy bulky wool is a practical choice for active children.
