This was a free pattern on the Colorful Stitches website. It called for one skein of Noro Kochoran (which is discontinued). Try any bulky yarn that gives you 3.75 stitches over 4”. Hat featured on the pattern page does not show a pompom, but the description from the Accessories Pattern Page says “This hat takes only skein of Kochoran yarn. You should have enough left to make a pompon to embellish the top”.
