The Kody Coaster is perfect for adding a pop of colour and texture to your home. These handmade coasters make a lovely addition to your dining or coffee table, and they help to protect surfaces from heat damage or scratches. This pattern works up quickly and makes an ideal last minute gift or housewarming present. It is recommended to use 100% cotton yarn. Cotton is easy to wash in case of any spillages and very durable, keeping its shape after a long time.

YARN USED IN THIS PATTERN (yarn weight: 4 ply)
Quality: Rainbow Cotton 8/6, 100% Cotton from www.hobbii.com
1 x 50g ball of Rainbow Cotton 8/6 is 105 m (115 yds) and will make four coasters

YARDAGE REQUIRED
Approx. 27yd (25m) per coaster

TOOLS NEEDED
Hook size USA G/6 (metric 4 mm)
Darning needle to weave in ends
Scissors

TENSION/GAUGE (single crochet)
5cm x 5cm (2” x 2”) = 10 sts and 10 rows

FINISHED SIZE
Diameter is 4” (10cm)

NOTE: Pattern also works well with chunky cotton yarn to make a small trivet size. See photos for this pattern made as a small trivet using a 7mm hook and Ribbon yarn, 100% cotton from www.hobbii.com. Yardage required is 33yds/30m (approx. 60g). The finished diameter is 17cm.
