There’s nothing cozier than a double-looped, cabled cowl on a cool night. This woven-textured cowl allows the wearer to loop a cabled piece with confidence — the “wrong” side is just as fun to look at as the right side!

This cowl is knit flat, then joined together with stitch-by stitch grafting directions. It’s intended to be long enough for a double loop around the neck, but the simple 6-stitch, 8-row repeat means it’s easy to make wider, narrower, shorter, or longer. It can even be left un-joined for a scarf, or shortened for a single-loop fit.

Cable patterns are written and charted.
