Koski-shawl is a shallow slightly asymmetric triangle shawl worked from sideways from one corner to the opposite side. Old shale lace with some variations is interrupted with fluffy kidsilk rows which mimic the foam over fast moving water in a ravine.

Yarn

120 g of fingering weight yarn app 400 m/ 437 yds per and 50 g of lace weight yarn app.420 m/ 457 yds per 50 g. You can substitute the lace weight yarn with 100 g of fingering yarn.

The sample shawl is knitted with Bona Yarns Good Fingering, 100% Merino, in colourway Venus Sands (MC) and Bona Yarns Mohair/Silk Lace, 72% Kid Mohair and 28% Silk, in colourway À bout de Souffle (CC).
