Krakær
The sweater is knitted in a traditional Fair Isle pattern and technique.
This means that the pattern is always knitted with only two colors at a time and the sweater is knitted in the round and then cut open in the armholes and neck hole.
The sleeves are knitted top down.
8 different colors are used in Önling-20.
The pattern describes 5 sizes.
The following needles are needed:
Circular needle 3 mm – approx. 80 cm.
Circular needle 3.5 mm – approx. 100 cm.
Circular needle 3.5 mm – 40 cm / double pointed needles 3.5 mm for sleeves.
Double pointed needles 3 mm for sleeve rib.
Circular needle 3 mm – approx. 40 cm for neck rib.
