Krokos Shawl
Anne Hanson
The triangular Krokos Shawl is a quick, fun project worked in motifs that replicate the emerging crocus buds of spring—something designer Anne looks forward to eagerly in her northern climate. Knitted up in DK weight yarn, this piece is warm enough to serve as outerwear for those spring days that inspire us to shed heavy coats; on wintery days, it will remind us that spring is on the way.
Finished Size 72” wide and 30” tall.
Yarn Bare Naked Wools Better Breakfast DK (65% combed merino wool, 35% dehaired alpaca; 300 yd 274 m/4 oz 115 g): warm coals, 3 skeins.
