This striking ethnographic mitten is from the Alsunga region of the District of Kurzeme, Latvia. It uses a total of eight colors. Several bands of the cuff require the knitter to use three to five colors contemporaneously while the upper mitten is knit in two colors.
Changes to the needle or yarn used will cause the finished size to vary.
