Beautiful double mittens, designed to bring both beauty and warmth to cold winter days. Inner- and outer mittens are worked separately. Inner mittens are thick and warm, worked with yarn held double. Outer mittens are delicate lace mittens, worked with single strand of yarn. Lace cuff is worked back and forth and then joined for working in the round at the beginning of thumb gusset.

Garnstudio Drops Alpaca; 183 yds / 167 m per 50 g skein; 100 % alpaca:
2 skeins in #4434 Purple (MC);
a little over 1 skein in #0100 White (CC)

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
For Inner mittens:
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm double pointed needles or a long circular needle for Magic Loop technique
For Outer mittens:
Size 2 ½ US / 3 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long
Size 2 ½ US / 3 mm double pointed needles (optional, you can also use the needle above and Magic Loop technique)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Kuurankukat ovat kauneudenkaipuisen tuplalapaset: alus- ja päällislapaset neulotaan erikseen ja puetaan päällekkäin. Aluslapaset ovat paksut ja lämpimät ja ne neulotaan kaksinkertaisella langalla. Päällislapasiin otetaan lanka yksinkertaisena ja neulotaan sillä herkkää pitsiä. Ranneosa neulotaan tasona ja yhdistetään pyöröneuleeksi kiilalisäysten alussa.
