The Ky Tie is a cute little accessory that can be added to any outfit for some extra fun. If you’re up for a challenge, knit the seamless version which uses Judy’s magic cast-on and kitchener stitch. Alternatively, you can knit the seamed version which has two small seams at the cast-on and bind-off edges. For both versions, short rows are worked to create a triangle. The tie is then knit in the round to create a tube with purl stitches on each side to form a ribbon-like fabric. Once the tie is long enough, short rows are then worked again to form the other triangular end. This stash-busting project is perfect for any knitter who knows the basics!
