This asymmetric triangle shawl is inspired by Edith Piaf and her iconic song La Vie en Rose. One of her nicknames was La Môme Piaf (Little Sparrow). She would have probably appreciated this airy shawl, as she was an avid knitter.

Airy, lacy, fun to knit and easy to master, this shawl will fly off your needles! The added lace border gives an extra elegance to an otherwise sporty stole.

Pattern has been tech edited (by woollenwords) and test knitted.

Approx 200 g , 800 m / 946 yd any fingering-weight yarn
You can choose 1 main colour and 5 contrasting colours, or 1 contrasting colour.

Gauge
22 sts and 48 rows over 10cm / 4” in garter stitch, severely wet blocked.
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will determine yarn usage and final measurements
