This sweater is knit from the top-down and features raglan sleeves that are adorned with a beautiful and simple to knit lace pattern.
The sweater body can be worked in three different ways, with:
- a plain stockinette body, or
- the lace pattern along the side seams, or
- rounded shirt-tails at the bottom (this involves short-rows). Instructions are included for all three options.
Sleeves can be knit as ¾ length or full-length sleeves.
Sizes:
XXS (XS, S, M, L1)(L2, XL, 2XL, 3XL) to fit chest sizes 32 (34, 36, 38, 40)42, 44, 48, 52“ /82 (87, 92, 97, 102) (107, 112, 122, 132) cm with zero ease.
Yarn:
Madelinetosh Pashmina - Sport Weight Yarn-
approx. 950 (1000, 1100, 1200, 1250)(1350, 1450, 1550, 1650) yards/ 870 (915, 1005, 1100, 1150)(1240, 1325, 1420, 1510) m yardage is given for 3/4 length sleeves, for full-length sleeves add 100 yards
Gauge:
22 sts & 34 rows = 4“/10 cm 4“ in stockinette stitch on larger sized needles
Needles:
U.S. 5 (3.75mm) – 24” & 32“ circular needles always use the size needle that gets gauge
U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) – 24” & 32“ circular needles ( for ribbing)
If not using magic loop method:
U.S. 5 (3.75mm) – 16“ circular needles & DPN
U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) – 16“ circular needles & DPN
U.S. 2 (3 mm) 24“ circular needle to pick up sts around the neckline
Small sized crochet hook (for cast-on)
Notions:
Stitch markers, removable stitch markers, scrap yarn to hold stitches, tapestry needle
