Il y a maintenant très longtemps que je souhaite tricoter le magnifique coloris Lac de Nathalie, alias By Night Creations. Alors il a fallu que je remédie à ça. Au début, j’étais encore partie sur la Milky Way que j’adore et finalement, j’ai craqué pour un mélange BFL+Mohair/Soie avec dans l’idée de mettre les manches en valeur et de faire un corps en jersey.

Lacca est donc un gilet/pull en top-down, avec un corps en jersey et des manches en dentelle. L’encolure raglan est en aller-retour pour le gilet, puis en rond pour le pull, et les motifs symétriques de dentelle s’installent progressivement le long des augmentations de raglans. Les manches sont bouffantes pour donner toute son ampleur aux motifs. Pour finir, il est bordé de côtes 1/1. L’encolure est tricotée après-coup sur tout le tour pour le gilet et en côtes repliées pour le pull. Un modèle basique et à la dentelle facile.

Pour l’achat de ce patron, 2 fichiers PDF seront à vous : une version numérique avec photos et une autre imprimable avec 1 seule photo et moins de pages. Il vous sera aussi envoyé une version livret, la version pdf qui me sert pour l’impression des livrets pour les salons.

It has been quite some time since I wanted to work with the gorgeous “Lac” colourway by Nathalie, aka By Night Creations. I had to remedy to that. At first, I was going for the Milky Way base, again, because I love it so much and then, I changed my mind and fell in love with the BFL+Mohair/Soie combo. My immediate idea involved textured sleeves and a stockinette stitch body.

Lacca is a top-down cardigan/sweater, with a stockinette stitch body and lace sleeves. The raglan neckline is worked back and forth, then work in the round for the sweater, and the symmetrical lace motifs are gradually constructed along the raglan increases. It features balloon sleeves to showcase the lace pattern. Finally, the hems are worked in 1/1 ribbing. The buttonband is knitted all around the neckline opening for the cardigan and a folded ribbed hem for the sweater. A staple piece with an easy lace motif.

Range 1 - 80, 84, (88, 92, 96), 100, 104.

Measurements :
Bust size (I recommend 10 to 20 cm of positive ease at the bust) : Range 1 - 95, 99, (103, 107, 111), 115, 119.

Notions :
4,5 mm circular needles or needles with which your get gauge.
4 mm circular needles or needles 2 sizes smaller than those with which your got gauge.
8 stitch markers, a cable needle and a tapestry needle.
5 to 6 buttons between 20 and 25 mm.

Gauge : 22 sts/28 rows = 10 cm in stockinette st.

Yarn :
My cardigan and my sweater were knit in size 92 (13 cm of positive ease) using 3 skeins of Full Moon (100% Bluefaced Leicester – 400m / 100gr) and 3 skeins of Halo (72% Superkid Mohair, 28% Mulberry Silk– 420m / 50gr) from By Night Creations in the Lac B1 colourway for the cardigan and in Cachou/Cochenille colourway for the sweater.

Given that your get gauge, you can use 1 strand of fingering weight yarn held with 1 strand of lace, or 1 strand of DK weight yarn, t in the following meterage:
