This pattern features an eyelet motif that creates vertical ribbing all around the hat. The fingering yarn creates a durable fabric that is light weight. This hat is great for those hair days where you just need something to contain your tresses!

The pattern directions are written out. The stitch pattern naturally creates a diagonal effect on its own without any special blocking. The knitter has a choice of blocking the hat to keep the spiral or to create straight ribbing. No matter how the hat is blocked, the garment will stretch to fit almost any head and fold easily for storage.
