Take the concept of a mobius from the center out and turn it sideways. Inspired by one of Gwen’s mobius class students, Gail, we took her genius idea of lace edging applied to the mobius structure, then flipped it sideways. Thanks, Gail, for the inspiration!

This mobius is worked differently from others in that, after the cast-on establishes the mobius twist, the stitches are worked off one at a time as you complete a lovely lace edging pattern around all the cast-on stitches. When you get back to the beginning, graft the end of the edging to the beginning and you end up with a gorgeous riff on the traditional mobius.
