Here is a beautiful lace and stocking stitch dress with button detailing along the front.

The dress is very reminiscent of the 1940s tea dress style and is made in 4ply cotton so is very light to wear.

The pattern has instructions incorporating either lengthening or shortening the dress length.

I absolutely love the lace pattern on the bottom and sleeves of the dress.

The dress is knitted in the round up to the buttons then knitted back and forth on rows.

The sleeves are also knitted back and forth on rows.
