This fun and easy to wear lace cowl was inspired by trees in the forest. It is long but light so it can be looped around your head two or three times.

The cowl is knit flat with a narrow garter stitch edging along the side edges.

The finished size after blocking is 16” (40.5cm) wide by length circumference 88” (223.5cm). The cowl can be made smaller or longer by completing less or more repeats of the tree lace chart.

The photographed sample was knit with 3mm (2.5US) circular needles and 1 skein of Spun Silk (100% silk), 100 grams/1,006 meters (1,100 yards), in hand died indigo. This infinity scarf drapes beautifully as it is knitted with silk.

The pattern includes a chart for the lace work.
