I was looking for a cute leg warmer pattern and could not find exactly what I wanted. So I decided to make my own.

I have designed these so they are stretchy, fitting a larger range of sizes. The lacing up the back is very cute. I also love the two layers of lace that wraps around your foot.(The second layer is optional) I have had so many compliments on these.

I believe you and your recipients of the finished product will love these.

The instructions are written in English using US terms. There are no charts. I would classify this pattern as intermediate. I am available by email if you have any questions about the pattern.

I have made these using Caron Simply Soft and also Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable. The first one pictured is in the Red Heart with ‘Echo’ Colorway. The Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable takes two skeins 3.5 ounce skeins with some left over. The black ones are made from Caron Simply Soft takes approx. 1 6oz. skein.

I tried these in Red Heart Love, and personally didn’t like the heavier yarn. Same with the Caron One Pounder. These yarns are bigger than the others even though they are all 4 weight. Some people might like the bulkier look.
