A small, 6-square piece of gingham fabric inspired this bold vest. We magnify the check into an oversized pattern, then crop it and place it asymmetrically into the design. Add shoelaces for the mock whipstitched seams, and ribbed intarsia armbands for clean, crisp finishing.
