I wanted to create something that had just a small touch of easy lace, or had a lacy look, as well something that hinted at spring flowers — thus, Lacy Details.

And by easy, I mean you might memorize the pattern before you finish the first sock.

I really enjoy a sock where you can use several different colors, but you only have to add and end each one once, in order to cut down on the number of ends that you have to weave in. It’s especially helpful when the main color can be carried throughout the whole sock like in this pair.

As always, this is a great pattern to use mini skeins or small amounts of leftovers. I’m all about getting the most use out of your yarn, even if you’ve already used it for something else!
